Guest Cottage/Casita Reform
In January 2013, working with our preferred architects and builders, we started a project to convert an independent building which previously housed a double garage with minimal guest facilities, into a guest cottage with a cinema room. At the same time we repositioned the machine room, installed a new heating system for the guest and main houses and dealt with a major underlying damp and humidity issue in the guest cottage building. This project was a pleasure to work on and we are truly delighted with the finished product.
Basement/Cinema Room and Exterior Plot Reform
In January 2014 we started a project to convert a very large basement garage area into a cinema and games room, still leaving sufficient space for store and machine rooms and a double garage. We also enclosed the plot and house with a large exterior wall and automatic gates. This was a great project to work on as we were able to contract the services of the original architect of the house to ensure that the design and functionality of the project extended perfectly from the original house spec.
Penthouse Apartment Reform
In January 2014 we took on a new client who had just purchased a large penthouse apartment which was in a state of considerable disrepair, as it had not been maintained properly for a number of years. Without actually ever meeting with the clients until completion of the project, we liaised purely by email and telephone conversations to return the property back to its former glory and deliver a beautiful result under some considerable time and planning pressures.
